How to Bulk Schedule Pitches with Automatic Follow-ups
Schedule automated email pitches with intelligent follow-up tracking
Bulk scheduling allows you to send personalized pitches to multiple reporters automatically, with smart follow-ups that trigger when reporters open your email. This feature helps you maintain consistent outreach while tracking engagement and responses.
Bulk scheduled automated emails are currently invite-only. You can always send pitches manually, but to use the bulk send feature, you'll need to request access first.
Getting Started
Select "Schedule Automated Emails"
After generating your pitches, you'll see two options for proceeding.

Choose Schedule Automated Emails (marked as Early Beta) to proceed with automated sending.
Request Access (First-Time Users)
If you haven't been granted access yet, you'll see a request access modal.

What happens next:
- We'll review your request
- You'll be notified once approved (typically 1-2 business days)
- Your email will be unblocked in Google for our service
Review Your Pitches
Once approved, you'll see the Review Pitches screen instead of the access request.

On this screen you can:
- Review each generated pitch in the right panel
- Select or deselect recipients on the left
- Verify the subject line and email body
- Click "Next: Schedule Settings" when ready
Configure Your Schedule
Set Timing and Follow-up Options
Configure when your pitches should be sent and enable automatic follow-ups.

Scheduling Options:
Send Now
Send immediately
Schedule (Recommended)
Schedule for later with quick presets
We recommend scheduling pitches for the next day rather than sending immediately. This gives you time to cancel if needed and allows you to review scheduled emails in your Mailbox.
Automatic Follow-up After Open:
Enable this to automatically send a follow-up email X days after a reporter opens your initial pitch (only if they haven't replied).
- Emails will be spaced 30 seconds apart
- Each reporter receives a personalized pitch
- Follow-ups only trigger after email is opened with no reply
Review Schedule Summary & Accept Terms
Confirm all details, then review and accept our legal terms before connecting your email account.
Schedule Summary Screen

The summary shows:
- Number of pitches to send

When you click "Connect Email Account", a modal will appear with our legal terms and consent requirements:

Before connecting, you must:
- Review and accept our Terms of Service
- Review and accept our Privacy Policy
- Review and accept our Acceptable Use Policy
- Provide consent to connect your email via OAuth
You can click on each policy link to review the full terms before accepting. Once you've reviewed and checked all the required boxes, click "Accept & Connect" to proceed to the Google OAuth flow.

The funnel visualizes:
- Email Journey: From scheduled → sent → opened → replied

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I cancel a scheduled email?
Yes! Navigate to the Mailbox tab and click the "Cancel Send" button on any scheduled email before it's sent. Once an email has been sent, it cannot be unsent.
What if the reporter doesn't open my email?
If the reporter doesn't open your initial email, no follow-up will be sent. Follow-ups are only triggered after a reporter opens your email and hasn't replied within your specified timeframe.
What exactly is the follow-up message?
Currently, the default follow-up message is automatically sent as a reply to your original email thread:
"Just following up on my previous email. Would love to hear your thoughts!"
This keeps the conversation in the same email thread, making it easy for reporters to reference your original pitch.
Why do I need to wait for approval?
We're managing early access to ensure the quality of our automated email system and to prevent abuse. This helps maintain high deliverability rates and protects the reputation of all users.
How long does it take to get approved?
Most requests are reviewed within 1-2 business days. You'll receive an email notification once you've been granted access to the bulk scheduling feature.
Is my email data secure?
Yes. We use Nylas, a trusted email infrastructure provider, to handle all email operations. Your credentials are encrypted and we only request the minimum permissions necessary to send and track emails on your behalf.
